Welcome to Zuri Eagles Safari. By booking a tour, safari package, or travel service with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.
1. Introduction and Scope
These Terms and Conditions govern all safari packages, excursions, transport arrangements, and accommodation bookings provided by Zuri Eagles Safari (“we”, “us”, or “our”) to the client (“you”, “the traveler”, or “the participant”). By securing a booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms.
2. Pricing and Accommodation Variations
All quoted rates and prices are based on costs at the time of publication and are subject to change without notice in the event of unexpected price increases, government tax adjustments, or supplier price shifts.
Note: The rates may vary dependent on the chosen accommodation from the one indicated.
If you request specific upgrades or alternative lodges/hotels outside of the standard package itinerary, any cost differences will be communicated and billed accordingly.
3. Booking and Payment Policy
To secure your safari adventure, we require strict adherence to our payment schedule:
- Deposit: A 50% deposit is required upon booking to secure transport and accommodation. Your booking is only officially confirmed once this deposit has been received and acknowledged by Zuri Eagles Safari.
- Balance Payment: The final balance must be cleared 21 days before the travel date. Failure to pay the balance on time may result in the cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of the deposit.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change unexpectedly. All cancellations must be formally submitted in writing (via email) by the person who made the booking. Cancellation fees are calculated based on the total cost of the booking and the timing of the notice received prior to the departure date:
- 45 to 30 Days prior to Departure: 50% of the booking value is charged.
- 29 to 15 Days prior to Departure: 75% of the booking value is charged.
- Less than 15 Days prior to Departure: 100% of the booking value is charged.
- No Show & Within 24 Hours: 100% cancellation fee applies (no refund).
5. Changes to Itineraries by the Company
Zuri Eagles Safari reserves the right to alter itineraries, substitute accommodations of a similar or higher standard, or adjust travel routes due to local conditions, weather, road safety, national park regulations, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. We will notify you as soon as possible if any significant changes become necessary.
6. Passports, Visas, and Health Requirements
- Travel Documents: It is the sole responsibility of the traveler to ensure that passports are valid for at least 6 months beyond the travel dates, and that all necessary visas, entry permits, and vaccination certificates (such as Yellow Fever) are up to date.
- Medical Fitness: Safaris often involve remote areas and rugged terrain. You must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions at the time of booking.
7. Travel Insurance
Zuri Eagles Safari strongly recommends that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance prior to departure. Your insurance should cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, emergency evacuation, personal injury, loss of baggage, and personal belongings. We will not be held liable for any costs arising from inadequate insurance coverage.
8. Wildlife and Safety Disclaimer
Safaris take place in natural wilderness areas inhabited by wild, unpredictable animals. While our experienced guides and driver-guides take every precaution to ensure your safety:
- You must strictly follow all safety instructions provided by guides and camp management.
- Zuri Eagles Safari, its employees, and partners accept no liability for any injury, loss, accident, damage, or delay incurred while visiting parks, reserves, or accommodations.
9. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with local laws. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the local courts.
